Good point! There's no room for a pan pot on the Aux Send from the channel and, as it's pre-fade, it doesn't use the channel's pan pot.
The Aux Send is a lot like vintage Neve thinking where there would be one pot feeding two (or more) sends. So there's two Aux Send busses and you can assign to one or both of them from the channel but can't pan them to provide a true stereo image.
