I get quite a few emails from folk who are having trouble logging onto the forums..

Invariably, these being pro audio forums, the computer of choice is a Mac and the browser of choice... Safari that's bundled with the Mac.

My recommendation is to dump the sucky Safari browser and download the free Mozilla Firefox browser for Mac OS-X from...

... and all your problems will fly away! It's a better browser than Safari and you'll have no problems logging on here or any other DCForum.

All you Windows guys should have no problem logging on but IE6 has more security holes than a colander and the new IE7 sucks in my humble opinion.

You too would have better browsing if you downloaded Firefox for Windows. They also do a browser for Linux.

I must add that I have no ties with Mozilla but the program is free and eliminates problems and security risks with either operating system so am happy to pass the advice on!

   Yep- my new G5 had Safari-as useful for this forum as a chocolate teapot or a chickenwire submarine- I downloaded Firefox, that's how you are reading this!!!

Just as a footnote, I can highly recommend Mozilla Firefox version 3... it's lightning fast!

PS I've also checked that IE7, Opera and Goggle Chrome have no issues logging on to this site.

Only Safari....

I've noticed when upgrading folk from normal to member that it sometimes reports that the two sample passwords are not the same. If you have sign in issues, try to change your password as a possible solution.
